3 Properties in 7 Months – Getting Started on AirBnB

As many of you know, Heather and I have been hard at work on not one, not two, but THREE rental properties in Philadelphia! All of which are short term rentals on AirBnB.

As we’ve shared photos through social media many of you have reached out to ask us questions about the process.

How do you pick the location?
Why so many properties?
Is this going to stop you fron traveling?

Today, Heather joins me to answer these questions and more as we give you an overview of our process for selecting, furnishing, and listing our short-term rental properties.

Got more questions about rentals? Let me know @ExtraPackofPeanuts!!

Our motto is “travel more while spending less”. George’s is probably, “spend as little as possible, but make the flights fancy”

George Igoe travels the world in First & Business class, but lives the economy lifestyle when he’s back on the ground.

And he made a hilarious web series about it.

Today George joins me to talk about cheap travel, how we use our points and the nitty-gritty behind making a travel series like this one. If you’ve ever been interested in how travel videos come about, there is some great information here for you!

George also shares his money-saving tip while on the ground, though it may be a hard decision to make!

Being on the road is a learning experience.

You learn about yourself, about the world, and about your partner in potentially illegal border crossings.

For the past five years Heather and I have been location independent, and for a while, completely nomadic and we’ve had quite a few mishaps along the way.

We managed to narrow the list down to 32 lessons to share, though we could probably think of hundreds! Really, you should have seen the initial list.

What’s your biggest travel lesson? Share with us at @ExtraPackofPeanuts!!
