If you decide to play the frequent flyer game with any regularity, there will inevitably come a time when you will be denied a credit card.
Even if you have a perfect credit score, low utilization rate, years of history with the card issuer and great standing, eventually you’ll end up with a denial letter or email.
You may be tempted to hang your head and rue a missed opportunity to earn even more miles.
In this episode, we cover the nerdy statistics of 2019. We’ll figure out about how many miles we traveled, how many different places we slept in, and how many new countries we visited plus much, much more!
We’ll be covering flights, drives, accommodations, and some experiences, but food and drink have their own episodes coming later this month.
So if you’re into the numbers, or would like to compare your stats with ours have a listen! And then definitely reach out to @ExtraPackofPeanuts and let us know some of your stats like how many miles did you travel in 2019, the number of countries or states that you visited, and/or what’s next for 2020!

Every year we like to make a list of our dream destinations for the upcoming year. Sometimes we get around to a couple of them, sometimes we don’t and they live on to the following year’s list, but either way, it’s a great way to start off!
We didn’t even look back at our 2019 Travel Wishlist because we didn’t want to be swayed so we simply asked ourselves ‘Where do I want to go’ without overthinking it or putting any restrictions on the dreaming of travel for 2020 just pure wanderlust.
Heather and I go through our top 7 destinations (and some honorable mentions), including a couple of surprising destinations from us both!
