Summer is the most popular time to travel. In Europe, they even take an entire month off in the summer to travel around the world!
And since summer is right around the corner, we figured it was time to talk about some of our favorites. Rules for today’s list? We have to have been to that place before so many ideal summer destinations may not be mentioned because we simply haven’t been! But we’ll be working on that!
While Heather prefers the beach, I tend to skew towards awesome cities, so you’ll get a breadth of places to inspire the wanderlust in today’s episode.

We liked Asheville so much that we ended up there twice last year!
Lately, we’ve had quite a few people asking us for our recommendations to Asheville, and when I went to send them this episode, it didn’t exist, so here we are!

Nate Menninger has spent the past several months relying on the kindness of strangers. From dogs in the wilderness to someone he met once for an hour becoming his travel buddy, it’s all about trust.
Pushing your comfort zone can be tough no matter what that means for you. Maybe buying that plane ticket does it, maybe running with the bulls, or showing up somewhere with nowhere to stay.
The best part though is coming through that challenge and growing, learning more about yourself and the people around you as you go on these crazy adventures.

If you’ve listened before, you’ll remember me not being a big fan of London, but I’ve changed my tune quite a bit!
