What do you think will be the changes we see in travel in a post-pandemic life? How do you see it affecting the way you travel? We have had quite some time to think about life post-pandemic but now that we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (thank you vaccine), we feel it is a great time to talk about how travel will have changed going forward. This was the topic we were prepared to discuss during our time on MSNBC with Yasmin Vossoughian but they quickly found out that Heather had caught COVID while we were in Costa Rica and that made for a better story for them. But, since we have this podcast we can finally get to discuss the 5 ways we see travel changing in a post-pandemic world and dive into the fundamental shift in the way people are traveling that we see as a positive. Enjoy!
You may be asking yourself “where the heck has EPOP been for the last few weeks?” well…Heather caught COVID. This, of course, changed everything we had planned including recording more episodes of this podcast. I went on full daddy duty while Heather had to quarantine herself away for 10 + days BUT Heather has fully recovered and we are discussing what it is like to get COVID in another country, the steps we had to take for testing, and how it affected our lives.

If you don’t follow us on Instagram then SURPRISE we are in Costa Rica and have been for over a month and today we are talking about how we came to the decision to come down here, the preconceived notions we had about the experience during COVID, and what it is like now that we are here and have been for a few weeks. We also may drop some hints on what our plan is moving forward.

Joining me today are two people I’ve spent uncountable nights singing karaoke with, who graciously played host when Heather and I got to experience a New Year’s Eve in Sydney, and who I’ve been living vicariously through the last year as they travel around on their 3-year Round the World Trip, my favorite kiwis in the whole world, Mon and T from GetHappy.today.
