About the Show
Creating Insatiable Wanderlust Since 2013
Every Tuesday Trav and Heather fill your heart with wanderlust and your head with knowledge.
Sometimes we’ll interview amazing travelers, like the guy who went around France on a little red scooter or the guy who spent 5 years going to every country in Africa (and climbing the tallest peak in each). Sometimes we’ll give you practical advice, like our 47 best gifts for travelers or 21 ways to survive a long haul flight. Sometimes we’ll drop some lists on ya (we love lists!) like our top 10 ice cream in the world or our top 25 breweries. And sometimes we’ll tell you all the best things to do at a specific destination, like the best seafood in Croatia or where to eat pizza in Rome.
But we’ll always have fun, always get (probably too) excited, and always say the word boutique wrong.
Ever wondered why road trips are so awesome? Probably not cause you already knew it, but Jason & I are going to talk about it anyway!
Author Tom Edwards has traveled the world on a shoestring, or perhaps a guitar string. He shares his tips for getting jobs on the road and some of his experiences as an ultra-budget traveler.
Mike & Suzie, from The Mike & Suzie show, join me today to talk about health and fitness on the road. How to keep routines/eat better when you’re traveling, why diets are crap, and how there is no such thing as failing!
Fast or slow? There are pros and cons for traveling either way and today Jason from Zero to Travel joins me for a quick debate!
Chicago is known as one of the best food cities in the world. And after listening to the first half of our destination diary, you’ll know why. With more food recommendations than any Destination Diary to date, we welcome listener Kevin to the show to discuss the wonders that Chicago has to offer.
Heather and I went to two very different places for our solo travel challenge. Today we chat with Napkins about our experiences traveling solo, what we learned about ourselves, and the tips we have for anyone else traveling alone.
Sometimes when you get home from a trip, the blues can hit hard. Doesn’t seem to matter where you went, or how long you were gone for, you’ve just got some mixed feelings on re-entry. Here are 14 tips & tricks for when you’re hardpressed to find that same happiness at home.
The Paradise Pack is launching today, and in it’s an honor we’re interviewing three of our contributors this year, Johnny FD, Ruth Soukup, and Mish Slade about how they became Location Independent and their best advice for you to do the same!
Heather and I have been Location Independent for 4 years. Long before we even knew that was a thing to be. Today we share 27 lessons we’ve learned (or are still learning) along the way.
It should be no surprise that Heather and I loved New Orleans. Check out some of our recommendations on where to eat, what to do, and where to stay in the big easy!
