Destination Diary – Georgia (the country!)

The next time we do a Top 10 country episode, Georgia is going to be mentioned. Spoiler Alert.

This place is amazing.

From the food to the amazing scenery and the people who really are just that nice, it’s captured my heart.

Today Heather and I go through our trip, the cities we visited, the places we stayed, and some of the amazing food we ate.

If you’ve never really thought about Georgia before, I encourage you to change your mind, because this place should be on everyone’s wishlist!

The Reason We Travel

Ep-243

Of course, we travel because of the places we’re visiting and the beautiful places, and great food, but there’s another reason that trumps all the other ones.

The people.

Today’s story is a perfect example of this.

There’s nothing like making friends with the lady next to you who seemed like she didn’t like you at first to change a crazy day into an awesome one.

Two Bucks to Timbuktu with Tom Edwards

Ep-240

We talk a lot here at Extra Pack of Peanuts on traveling more while spending less.

Today’s guess spent less to travel. A lot less.

Tom Edwards, author of Two Bucks to Timbuktu & Planes, Trains, and Broken Strings joins me to talk tips and tricks for ultra-budget travel and finding work while you’re on the road.

Tom’s done it all, hopped trains (been fined on said trains), slept under bridges (with and emu), hitchhiked, couchsurfed, and busked the streets for cash. He’s had more than a few adventures and today he shares those adventures with us!

You don’t need money to travel the world, you just need to be creative!
