Every time I’m wondering about something it seems you have a podcast that covers it. :) So many great points you touch on, especially about not comparing yourself to people further down their path and getting involved in the community…. both things I need to work on. Sigh. :P
Since getting the Paradise Pack last week I have been on an information BINGE, and I feel like I’m going to explode haha. It’s probably a good thing seeing as how I don’t have the first clue about business or entrepreneurship… well, now I have more of a clue than I did, but my head is spinning from all the new things I’m learning. Still, it’s got me less anxious about my decision to seriously pursue this lifestyle and more optimistic.
Basically: thanks. :)
@Kristin- You rule, and so glad you loved this podcast. Natalie is a wealth of knowledge, as is the Paradise Pack. Glad you are enjoying both immensely and that you’ve dived right in.
One little piece of hard learned knowledge: Don’t let all the information you’re learning paralyze you in to inaction. That’s happened to me. You want to do so much at one time that you end up not knowing where to start and doing none of it. Break it down in to small goals and get started. You usually can achieve less in one day than you think is possible, but way more in one year than you think possible. So small steps and action!
Let me know how I can help!
Yeah, that’s exactly what I’m struggling with right now! I’m so excited and I just want to do it all RIGHT NOW! But I did fill out Natalie’s business plan template that came with the Pack and am constantly referring back to that as a way to keep myself on track.
I’m just such an impatient person that even though I know that the rate I’m going at right now is pretty good, I feel like I’m going too slow or like I’m procrastinating by pacing myself.
You’ve already helped out so much! I definitely know I can count on you for good advice, and I appreciate the outstretched hand. :)
@Kristin- You’re always going to think you should be doing more because it’s impossible to get done everything that lives in your own head. But the important thing is that you set small goals, congratulate yourself when you hit them, and then move on. Just don’t forget to stop and smell the roses!
