A couple of months ago, you guys voted for Heather and I in the Lights, Camera, Switzerland contest.
Because of YOU, we won!
We can’t thank you enough. We’ve finally returned from our time filming in Switzerland, and what a crazy adventure it was.
So why not share it with you?
Here is part 1 of a 2 part recap show where we talk about ALL the crazy things we did while we were in Switzerland including impromptu yodeling lessons, a weird first day of filming, Travis being terrible at windsurfing, and much more.
And as a bonus, Napkins is our interviewer!
Check back next Tuesday for Part 2 where things just get even busier!

Listening to this episode because I am planning a Switzerland road trip with my husband and sister-in-law for summer 2019. (Sidenote: Love your show and you guys – I’m from Collegeville, PA too!)
You mention a lot of awesome things to do and try in the Swiss land that sound fantastic! I have a question: Can you offer more info about visiting the site near Andermatt where the piece of land owned by Russia is located? Very interested in exploring this exciting gem that I never knew about.
Thanks!
@Kelly – So glad you like the episode, and you should definitely check out the tv show then (http://www.lightscameraswitzerland.com). As far as visiting the piece of land Russia owns, as far as I know you can just drive up to it and check it out. There aren’t any checkpoints or anything like that at all – it’s just a memorial on the side of the road basically.
Where’d you go to high school? Small world!
Sounds like an awesome adventure! Quick (and random) question. When we all voted for you, their website said that we were being entered to receive a free trip to Switzerland and that the winner would be notified in June (there was, at the time, an entirely separate page of sweepstakes rules for this). However, they never announced that winner, and they’ve gotten rid of all evidence of that contest on their website. Do you guys have any inside information on what they’ve done with that contest? Did they really pull the rug out from under us and not award a winner? I didn’t think I would win anyway, but it seems odd that they would erase the evidence.
@Heather- I actually asked this exact same question and still have never gotten an answer. I also thought it was bizarre, and figured maybe someone who voted for me would have a shot at winning (since you guys crushed it and we had so many people vote for us). And yet, I never heard anything about it.
I’m going to keep nagging them, because it seems lame they wouldn’t announce it.
