Japan Survival Guide

Ep-198

Last week we shared our experiences getting jobs teaching English in Japan, and how those jobs worked.

But what about Japan itself?

During the 2 years we were there we traveled throughout the country and picked up on a lot of basic etiquette and cheap travel tips!

In today’s podcast, we share some of our best tips on etiquette (both general and food-related), the cheapest ways to travel around the country, the huge range of accommodation options, and of course, our favorite foods!

We even go into some specifics regarding train and air travel in Japan (budget airlines!) that you’re probably going to want to check out as you start planning your trip!

Which is right now. Right?

4 Choices That Landed Us at The Edge of The Grand Canyon

Ep-196

The Grand Canyon is a sight to behold.

One so great that Heather’s jaw actually dropped when she saw it for the first time.

And today’s podcast is recorded from its very edge!

Situated on a cliff on the outside of the Grand Canyon we decided to record a podcast about all the decisions we made that lead us to this moment.

Our hope is that you can take the lessons of these decisions and apply them to your own travel and hopefully find yourself somewhere just as amazing!

We also want to thank YOU for making these moments possible!

GetMyBoat & CorkSharing with Bryan Petro – Part 2

Ep-195

On Tuesday Bryan gave us the skinny on how he created CorkSharing, but today we’re going to talk about the business itself.

But before we get to the benifits of CorkSharing, both for the consumer, and for the wineries themselves, we listen to some AWESOME stories from GetMyBoat.com and some of the great things people have been able to do with the service.

We also chat about how to start a business by solving your own problems, the differences between self-discovery and researching (and why they’re both awesome) and ask Bryan to share some of his favorite destinations around the globe.

And what good episode wouldn’t end with a travel mishap?!

This is Part 2 of a 2 part interview. To listen to part one, where we discuss more details about creating your own business and GetMyBoat.com click here!
