If you’ve listened before, you’ll remember me not being a big fan of London, but I’ve changed my tune quite a bit!

While I still won’t admit that English food is very good, we’ve found a couple of places I really enjoy, and this last time in London was quite a lot of fun!

Today Heather joins me to talk about our favorite areas of the city, some of the best places to eat, and a TON of things to do. From free museums (yes, free!) to a great way to see shows for cheap, we have some great tips for the budget traveler in today’s episode!

Sarah Tiedemann, author of Traveling with Baggage: A Guide for the Hesitant Hiker, has dealt with anxiety her whole life.

She didn’t let it stop her from moving to Hawaii to go to college, though! Or the subsequent travel bug.

Today Sarah joins me to chat about her experience traveling with anxiety, some of the mechanisms she uses to cope, and how you can help if you’re traveling with someone who has anxiety.

It’s not easy to travel with anxiety, but what you’ll find on the other end might just be worth the fight.

When you go on holiday, you do the things you like to do. Turns out Bill Ker (Doc) really enjoys working out, so he started a tour company to do just that.

It all started when Bill decided to scratch his own itch and workout a bit while he was traveling the world. It definitely makes you feel a little less bad about all that beer!

Cue a minimum viable product and suddenly Doc’s got his tour company off the ground. Today he shares some of his best workouts while on the road, why all you need is a jump rope and shows how combining your passions can turn out pretty well!

What do you do to stay fit while you travel? Let me know @ExtraPackofPeanuts!!

Destination Diary – Barcelona, Spain

Ep-267

Click here to download this episode directly

More than the food, the drinks, or the location, the best thing about Barcelona was the lifestyle. But the food and drinks were also awesome!

Heather and I go in-depth today on all the restaurants we visited (quite a lot), the gelato we didn’t get to eat and the best bars we found on our trip.

And while there isn’t many touristy things to do in Barcelona (seriously, go eat), we did find some pretty awesome parts of town to visit, and of course, if you go when it’s warm there’s always the beach!!

Some of the restaurants we mention in this episode require advance booking, perhaps even weeks in advance based on the time of year you’ll be traveling. The Fork and Open Table are two great ways to book restaurants in advance, perhaps before you even get to Barcelona!

Have you ever been to Spain? What was your favorite city? Let us know for our next trip @ExtraPackOfPeanuts!!
