The Reason We Travel

Posted By Trav

Ep-243

Of course we travel because of the places we’re visiting and the beautiful places, and great food, but there’s another reason that trumps all the other ones.

The people.

Today’s story is a perfect example of this.

There’s nothing like making friends with the lady next to you who seemed like she didn’t like you at first to change a crazy day into an awesome one.

This was such an incredible episode! I was smiling the whole time. It’s so incredible to get to spend quality time with locals.

I just recently found your podcast, and this afternoon I listened to the 2 Months in Europe recap, as well as the Paros and Georgia destination diaries (let me tell you – it made cooking and cleaning a lot less of a chore!). Thank you for sharing your amazing adventures and contagious optimism about people :)

@Tali Shalfer – Awesome, glad you liked them! If you keep listening, we’ll keep putting them out. And just like you, I love listening to podcasts to make normally boring and mundane tasks actually fun!

Great episode! Booking an award flight for 2017. Mind sharing your fixer/driver contact? Thanks!

@Mike R – His name is Ako, but the best way to get a hold of someone who can help you set stuff up is by contacting our other buddy there, Johnny. He runs a company called Toba Travel – you can find all their info on Facebook by going to their page: https://www.facebook.com/tobatravel/?pnref=lhc.

Tell him Travis sent you, and he can hook you up!

        Will do, thanks again.
